The Quem é o Bob? project began nearly 20 years ago as a tribute to the king of reggae.
The band has since expanded its repertoire beyond Bob Marley, and today they perform reggae and ska from various international artists, such as Manu Chao, Natiruts, Kussondulola, and Mercado Negro.
Who is Bob?” represents more than just a simple tribute. They are a band with their own identity, celebrating Jamaican music and culture while incorporating elements from different cultures and styles.
During the pandemic, they used the song “So Much Trouble In The World,” originally by Bob Marley and The Wailers, to convey a “message of hope, awareness, and fighting against injustice.”
The band continues to bring its contagious energy to ever-growing audiences, inspiring everyone to celebrate life and music.
They are a regular presence at Academic Festivals, Motorcycle Rallies and Festivals throughout the country and abroad.
