Cróga

Cróga

Cróga is an Irish word meaning “brave” or “courage” . It is  an old Gaelic-Irish word rooted in historic terms for fierce or valiant warriors. In modern useage it represents everyday acts of courage, big and small. It is also the name of as talented a bunch of rapscallious Irish troubadours as can be found up or down the Guadiana.

With Mikey on guitar, vocals and moothie, Jimmy on guitar and vocals, Jules on drums and Dave on mandolin their endless energy and fabulous talent kept the big tent jumping for over an hour and would have continued all night had someone not pulled the plug to let the other acts get a chance.
