Cróga is an Irish word meaning “brave” or “courage” . It is an old Gaelic-Irish word rooted in historic terms for fierce or valiant warriors. In modern useage it represents everyday acts of courage, big and small. It is also the name of as talented a bunch of rapscallious Irish troubadours as can be found up or down the Guadiana.
