Filipe Santos and Carola Sprengel met at various festivals in Portugal. On the Portuguese guitar, Filipe plays a mix of pieces by the guitarist and composer Carlos Paredes, reimagined with a modern touch; his repertoire also includes a blend of Portuguese and international songs from other musical genres.
Carola, playing the accordion, has a particular love for classical music as well as Eastern European Gypsy music.
In this combination, they will make their debut as a duo at the Guadiana International Music Festival in October.
