GIMF 2026 was the debut performance for Joao Carlos Simoes’ new band, Siga Siga. Siga Siga (Greek: σιγά-σιγά) literally translates to “slowly, slowly”. In practice, it is a popular Greek and Cypriot cultural expression meaning “take it easy”, “no rush”, or “don’t stress”.
Joao is accompanied by Karin on guitar and vocals and Miguel on drums.
