The Festival is hosted in the Town of Alcoutim, 35 km North of Vila Real De Santo Antonio, in the Eastern Algarve. Take the IC-27 North and the Alcoutim exit to the riverside Town of Alcoutim.

 The Festival takes place on two riverside stages about five minutes’ walk apart.

BY CAR

Alcoutim is 35 km to the North of Vila Real De San Antonio, in the Eastern Algarve. Take the IC-27 North and the Alcoutim exit

BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT

You can take the #34 bus from Vila Real de San Antonio, destination Balurcos, on Friday afternoon and return on the Monday. There are NO weekend buses.

RIDESHARE

There isn’t a festival organised system for this but you are welcome to comment on our Facebook page to offer or request a ride share. You could also try the BlaBla Car App or rideshare groups on telegram.

BY BOAT

Sailing – Under the bridge and up, all in one tide with plenty of deep water anchoring once your reach us. The Alcoutim dock is cleared of boats for the festival and there is alternative docking across the river at San Lucar de Guadiana.

Ferry – A ferry, operated by Fun River runs all day until around 10 pm between Alcoutim and San Lucar. Check with the provider for details.

Campervans

The official Parque de Caravans overlooks the river, by the cemetery and is a short stroll from the main stage.

You may prefer to find your own spot or try peaceful Shamwari

THINGS TO DO

There is always an arts show at the library. Look for local crafts at the dockside, visit the museum, take a riverboat tour or just enjoy the lovely scenery for walking.
